There are of course limitations and restrictions depending on the game. So why not use the text message of the Hug emote, but cancel the motion, and launch the Embrace one instead. The best I've come up with is the following : /hug <wait.1> /embrace motion /micon hug emote. But the result looked kinda weird, with the hug emote being canceled mid-way. I've tried with wait.0, but then the hug emote isn't canceled at ...Without timing to allow for the different animation duration of emote actions to take place and complete, for example a "Hi, great to see you again" would either get stuck playing the /wave or /lookout emotes, ignoring the other. There's a workaround to this kinda. They mentioned it in the patch notes: A parameter has been added to the "/gearset" command to allow glamour plates to be applied when changing gear sets. Though looking through it there's a few in here that aren't persistent. The only ones I can pick out that aren't are Diamond Dust, Fist pump, Megaflare and Zantetsuken. FWIW, i'm pretty sure they are properly categorized based on how SE categorizes them. They changed from "persistent" to "Special" a while ago.
